Product Details
Epitalon (Epithalamin / Epithalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) modeled on a natural pineal-gland extract. It is a reference compound in the Russian peptide-bioregulator research tradition.
Mechanism of Action. Epitalon is reported to activate telomerase, modulate melatonin biosynthesis, and influence circadian gene expression. Effects on lymphocyte function and chromatin remodeling are also documented.
Applications. Telomerase research, pineal-gland biology, circadian-rhythm studies, peptide-bioregulator investigation.
