Product Details
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide (Gly-His-Lys) that has become a reference compound in skin, wound, and matrix research.
Mechanism of Action. GHK-Cu binds copper(II) and modulates over 4,000 human genes, including those governing collagen and elastin synthesis, glycosaminoglycan production, antioxidant response, and angiogenesis. It activates the copper-dependent enzyme lysyl oxidase, which is critical for extracellular matrix crosslinking.
Applications. Dermal matrix research, wound-healing studies, hair-follicle investigations, copper-dependent enzyme studies, and comparative anti-aging peptide research.
