Product Details
GHRP-2 is a synthetic hexapeptide and second-generation growth-hormone-releasing peptide. It activates the ghrelin receptor (GHSR-1a) and is widely used in comparative GHRP research.
Mechanism of Action. GHRP-2 binds GHSR-1a in the pituitary and hypothalamus to trigger pulsatile GH release. Mild appetite-pathway and prolactin/cortisol effects are documented at higher doses.
Applications. GHSR-1a pharmacology, comparative GHRP studies, ghrelin-pathway research, somatotropic-axis modeling.
