Product Details
Melanotan-1 (Afamelanotide) is a synthetic 13-amino-acid α-MSH analogue with a single amino-acid substitution that enhances enzymatic stability and MC1R selectivity.
Mechanism of Action. Melanotan-1 selectively activates the melanocortin-1 receptor on melanocytes, driving eumelanin synthesis through cAMP and tyrosinase upregulation. The narrower receptor profile distinguishes it from MT-2.
