Product Details
SNAP-8 is a synthetic octapeptide modeled on the N-terminus of SNAP-25, the SNARE-complex protein cleaved by botulinum toxin. SNAP-8 mimics the natural sequence and is investigated as a non-toxin alternative for SNARE-disruption topical research.
Mechanism of Action. SNAP-8 is reported to interfere with SNARE-complex assembly, reducing acetylcholine vesicle fusion and muscle-contraction-related signaling at the local site of application.
