Product Details
Thymosin Alpha-1 is a 28-amino-acid acetylated peptide originally isolated from thymic tissue. It is one of the best-characterized thymic peptides in immunomodulation research.
Mechanism of Action. Thymosin Alpha-1 engages TLR2 and TLR9 signaling on dendritic cells and macrophages, drives Th1-skewed cytokine release, and modulates T-cell differentiation. It also influences NK-cell and dendritic-cell function.
Applications. Innate-immunity research, T-cell-differentiation studies, antiviral-pathway investigation, comparative thymic-peptide pharmacology.
